This was shot during golden hour, I have a few where he’s backlit, but the sky was SO pretty I decided to turn him so I could get the full field and blue sky (without blowout). No other posing because he was close to being ‘over it’ at this point. I exposed for the highlights and squatted down so his head would be above that horizontal line. This was done with my 28mm at ISO400/1.8/1/1250. I mainly edit in Lightroom and occasionally pull into PS. This one was all LR. I brought down the highlights, deepened shadows and brightened lights with curves, and tweaked the H/S/L sliders to bring out the blue and change the green tones.
