This image is a composite I created from a digital product from SLpixa. In the original image I had baby posed in the “bum up” position on my posing table. I find that the best route to success with newborns comes from preparation – both the baby and myself, as well as a huge heap of patience. Before every session I take time to stretch and meditate. Calming myself really helps to keep my little models calm as well. Then I keep the studio as comfortable as possible for them – it’s pretty dark (just the light of my strobe), very warm (around 80 degrees) and quiet except for the Baby Susher.
