I was able to take this freelensed self portrait by stacking some boxes and propping my lens up with some of my kids’ Legos.  I set my lens to infinity and used some cloth for layering and interest. My camera has wifi capabilities, so I used the Nikon WMU app as a remote shutter. I was able to see my camera screen and move in and out of the focal plane to achieve the look that I wanted. I created some behind the scenes videos and shared them in my blog.
