In post I raised exposure a little more on both my son and I. There wasn’t a lot of light falling on our faces since we were looking down. Since the fog was pretty thick I brushed more clarity on us as well as used the dehaze tool in Lightroom. Lastly, there was a tree directly behind my head so I opened the image in PS, duplicated the background, used the dropper tool and selected the off white fog color, then painted over the tree at a low opacity. Any paint I got on my hair I just brushed off by adding a layer mask to the duplicated background layer.
