I stood on the bed and set my settings and focus while just the kids were in bed, then handed it over to my partner to click the shutter. It was shot with a 24mm lens which helps give the feeling that the camera was quite high. I have hung my camera from the ceiling fan and used a remote before for this type of shot but I needed to move the bed towards the window to get more light so couldn’t do that this time. When I processed it I used a film preset (Tribe’s LXC), took the highlights down a little on us and added a little bit of contrast.
